The new cover for my novel, without the words. This is THE most involved photomanipulation I've ever done. The background was such a pain in the
 (I used about half of the 58 layers in the piece for it, it's my first REAL background), but I finally finished it.The person is obviously my MC, kneeling on a pointed rock with stuff under it (no, it's not a volcano or forest, it's all rock and the stuff is undefinable now as it would ruin part of the book). She's using her lightning, obviously. It's not a real scene, but probably happened (just practice). The lightning sparkly is amazing... As you can see, I used the same model in my piece "The Coming Storm". I love that model because she looks EXACTLY like my MC in my mind's eye. Not ugly, not pretty, dirty blonde hair, same nose. And in the stock photographs she's always wearing black, my MC's favorite color. Which cover do you like better? This or [link] ?
